I may have made an error in using this product for sealing around the windshield and rear window on my 55-1st Series. It's now been about a week, and this stuff is still tacky when you press on it. It states on the tube that it remain "soft and pliable", and I thought that meant it would cure similar to a rubber like product. Has anyone used this stuff before, and a)does it ever cure up, and b)is there a better product to use (sealing between the metal, and the rubber gasket. I hate to think about digging all this gunk out-spent quite a while getting it nice and neat. It does look pretty good! But like that tease back in high school-look but don't touch!
