Today, checking lube level,I'm afraid I may have overfilled the rear axle (not Positraction type) by about 150ml, because the truck was not at perfect level. At the first check, the rear was a little higher, and the lube trickled out at plug opening. So I put a jack under front cross member, but think maybe I lifted a litle too much, and added some 200 ml, until the fluid was not oozing, but at the plug opening level. Is there any harm, or the differential vent will take care of any eventual overpressure or the like? If this info helps, the truck was at garage temp (not run), but today was a very hot day.
Many thanks for any advice.
