My 66 model 300 hp 327 seems to lost its edge over the last 21 years or so. It idles eradic, and just does not have the crisp acceleration it once had. I was blaming it on the carb, but i do not think that is it. Maybe a flat cam? It doesn't "pop back" thru the carb, like i remember them to do( i worked in a cheverolet dealership during the mid 80s, during the heyday of the 305 cams). Any ideas??
