Here and over at Inliners international "fitting the Offy and Fentons" is an all time classic topic.
When we where confronted the first time with this problem on a friends 235 we took a lathe and made 3 spacers that moved the offy out a bit (and also replaced the 3 rings).
Is this the typical german complicated mechanic brain
