Old Gold! Someone paid a lot of money for that custom steering wheel and you just go and change it. Sheesh! You're a lot like me, I guess. I like the old trucks because they were/are a lot of fun (challenge?) to drive. I like mine mostly original, too. WHen I see someone has added those little bitty steering wheels, or bucket seats, Auto transmission, etc, I almost want to cry. But to each his own, and I understand some people want added safety/comfort of disc brakes, power brakes, power steering, etc.
But where's the fun in safety? :-)
(153 Willys pickup, all stock/all original including engine and drivetrain (runs and stops), all original 1959 Apache (runs and stops), mostly all original (has 1949 Pontiac engine in it) 1947 Dodge 1 ton (doesn't run, barely stops). :-)
