For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 | What I meant about the hole in the block is does anyone know if its the same distance from the front of the motor on both blocks,I was at a junkyard saturday looking at a 37 1 1/2 ton to see if there was a bracket for the front of the pans but it had nothing but I did notice the bracket that holds the road draft tube still was in front of the tube on the 216 and its on the rear of the tube on the 235 I have in my 37. Should of grabbed it but I did not have a rubber mallet with me to try to knock it loose and it looked rough since the hood rotted off since the last time I was there in the late 70s and when I first went back 9 years ago so I might be going back to get it soon. | | |
