I'm rebuilding my '55 12V Delco generator and when I oiled the rear bushing the oil just ran out so I removed the round metal cover on the cavity below the rear bushing and there's nothing in there! Is there supposed to be something in there and, if so, what does it look like? I've searched the forums but didn't find anything on this particular subject.
