| | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 13 | hello to all fellow stovebolter's (?) just bought a 1953 3/4ton Chevy pickup!(yay)Truck has sat since 04.PO said something in the top end went and he couldn't fix it,so he decided to sell.
the truck is pretty much stock, minus the rear tailgate (which i'm searching for) and bumper.anyhow, the model numbers on the side of the hood dont match anything that I've seen on here or anywhere for that matter.they read "Chevrolet 1420", i can't seem to find anything online that explains them.
anyone with info would sure be mutchly appreciated!
