Ok, back in the summer, I attained a set of ralley wheels for my truck from its previous owner, but they were a bit rusty. So I sandblasted them down to bare metal, and repainted them. I went with a cheapie approach with the painting, because I plan to have them painted the same colour as the truck when I get the truck repainted. What I did after sandblasting, was prime them with two coats of spray can primer, then I put 3 coats of spray can paint on them, which was apparently meant for wheels (so said the label) and then after that, 2 coats of spray clearcoat. They were fine until the snow came. The truck sat outside in the snow, and wasn't driven until the snow melted. Well, the part of the wheels that had snow sitting in them has already rusted. What did I do wrong? And what kind of paint, or painting technique should I go with next so this doesnt happen again? Such a waste of time, that was...aaarrggh
