For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 9 | Help & advise please. I have a 54'/55' 1st series pick up and I picked up a 59' 235 out of a Bel Air (I stupidly sold the original motor awhile back). Does anyone have any advise or knowledge of whether it will mate up to my bell housing and or any other problems that I may encounter. The Bel Air had a automatic so I'll have to get a flywheel. Other than hydraulic lifters are there any other differences in the motors? Thanks, NM | | |
