#58485 03/29/2006 7:23 PM | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 | I just looked at the new chev's of the 40s flyer and they listed a tremec t-5 with 8 shifter locations- Basically its got a tail shaft with several shift boxes AND there is one right ontop of the maincase, which means you could have your shifter in the stock location!
The ratios looked nice too! I think there was one with first at 2.6 and fifth at .6!
Unfortunately, its lots more expensive than a used or rebuilt Borg and Warner t-5. (B&W sold the design to Tremec who now manufactures it)
