I have a 46 2 ton that I was worried about. After getting everything healthy, it really stops good! The stock hydorvacs work well.
I haven't done this yet, but I would think you could add a more modern brake booster to the truck with the addition of a fabricated braket to hold it in place. I plan on doing this in the near future to one of my cabovers that is getting modern running gear.
