right - and now i see that you can't see it, but on that front arm, aside from the visible hole in it, there's another small hole on the 'out' leg of it. but it's no more than an 1/8", as if it'd be operated by a wire pull. might that be for a wire pull connection to the o/d shift rail control shaft lever?
