I've had people tell me that the airbag 'ride' is harsh and have removed them for that reason. I've installed a C4 'vette front end on my street rod and is very smooth. Downside is very few options for ride height. Cost $500.00 on eBay. Here's a trick to see if your shocks are bottoming out. With the car at ride height, tighten a plastic wire tie on the shaft where it goes into the shock body. Take it for a ride over a rough road then see how far the wire tie has moved up the shaft.
