It is not proper as the piping runs all the way around the upper edge of the bottom cushion as apposed to the original where the piping went along the sides and then turned down as is customary. This would cause premature wear and perhaps discomfort.
Improper Proper The local auto uphostery shop agreed to do mine for $200 but I have not gotten to it yet.
