Not sure on the length, but there should be lots of Chevys in Orange Co to measure. As I remember there was quite a bit of spline area at the U joint for fore and aft adjustment. Back when I did this swap it really was trick as the 3:55 gears really worked super in the truck. So you'll want a donor rear end from a powerglide car. | | |
