A tri-five rear is a good choice and they can hold more power than you have in mind but are fairly small. Easy to put discs on too. You certainly don't need a F*%d rear but they are popular because of the magazines. Many, many good choices out there if you think about it. Getting one the right width is probably more important than brand or model.
Also a 3:70 is a good choice when using an overdrive giving you a 2.65. A 3:08 in OD is a 2:15 which offers no power so is way too high. | | |
