Yes, it will drop out the bottom with the removal of the 6 bolts holding it on. Careful!!! Its heavy,, keep your hands away from directly under it while removing it. And, it will only go back on one way when re-installing.
I just had mine resurfaced and balanced,,,65.00.
Dont know what they charge for new ring gears.
