I'm trying to get the steering box out of my 46 1/2 ton. I removed the nut on the output shaft but could not for the life of me get the steering linkage off of the output shaft. I tried prying it, pounding on it, heating it up, drenching it in penetrating oil, using a gear puller but it will not budge. Any ideas?
I want to take it out to adjust the worm gear to get the play out of my steering wheel.
