lb55 - i'll note that good idea. so, even full of oil, an pump isn't 'self-priming' at that stage of the game. which would be similar to most water pumps. they don't actually pump, but instead, they create a pressure difference whereby the fluid flows to the low pressure/'suction' side of the pump
