Thanks for the reply. So there is not really anything I can do to this frame to make it a ½ ton. Is there anything I can do to get it to ride any smoother? I want to replace the rear axel to get a better high end on the road. I am going to use the original 235 that is in the truck and change the tranny to a 2 speed power glide.
