Just got a 66 fleet shorty in July...probably could have taken some short cuts and drove rest of year before winter, but thought I'd get a jump on redoing. I'm not going to totally restore...truck is probably at least 90% solid, just rework cab floors, couple other spots, update interior some. freshen/spruce up the 283. Everything is almost completely apart, except lifting off cab. The hardest thing I've had to overcome was getting used to the fact that this is not going to be something that will be done in a couple months, like when I did my bikes. A longer more time consuming process.
