I have never gotten a good answer about this problem, but many people have said that the kits that mount the booster and master cylinder in the original frame position will not work with manual transmissions. I believe the problem lies in the clutch pedal linkage area. I wanted to do this very upgrade, but I have no intentions of switching to an automatic transmission. I even emailed CPP about this issue and never got a reply. What I am thinking of doing is to switch to a dual master cylinder using an adaptor bracket, but not use the booster. The other option is to go for a firewall mounted booster/master cylinder setup. Let us know what you end up doing to resolve this problem. None of the vendors I've seen even mention that there may be a problem with this type of setup with manual transmissions.
