what i have never seen(not that i have ever looked very hard) is a late model dodge cummins 5.9L I6 turbo diesel in a 1950's, or a 1960's chevy truck. more power than a v8. lots of aftermarket parts, and better fuel economy. but, if you still want a v8, i say 409. the 409 was the boss back then, and its still the boss now
