I do the same as WBR

I buy what ever length in steel brake line (8'' - 51'')(3/16'' - 1/2''dia) and cut the end @ the carb end and use a hose to the carb. My fuel pump has a 5/16'' double flare fitting already.
Remember to place a good inline filter under the truck. I believe it's better there b4 the pump and easy to change, than around the engine where if the hose leaked could cause a fire. Don't use a glass one.
