I don't think you want it under the cab. It'll scrape on the ground.

I don't know if any of the major vendors carry the original under bed tanks, but perhaps Bob Adler can provide one. He's got a field full of AD trucks, and I think there are a few 47's and 48's there. He ain't cheap, though, and I don't know if a used tank can be shipped, but it's worth a try.
