I am in the trucking business, and that seems a little on the high side, especially for a partial. Try posting an ad on this site and watch it daily.

I picked up several partials just to help a little with expenses and charged $.75 a mile. However, with my commercial hauling, I try for $3.00 a mile. If you are not pressed for time and can provide the truck with loading and unloading, you should get it done for less than $1.00 a mile. I do that for people who share my interest in old vehicles and it is a common practice.
