The rear section of the frame behind the axle clearance hump had been cut off. I have this section and want to get it welded back on where it belongs. In some pictures that I have looked at it appeared that this rear most section of frame was a little higher than the rest of the main frame but it didn't make sense to me that it would be higher.
There isn't a bed on the truck right now so in theory could I just take a nice long rugged piece of angle iron, clamp it to the main section of frame and and then clamp the back section up to the bottom of the angle iron and weld it?
