ALL trucks were "made to be work trucks" in the 50's, not so many urban cowboys around then with money to burn .... yes it's somewhat rare, considering it's 50 years old and most of them got worked to death as intended - worth much? you and the guy you bought it from might think it's worth what you paid, looking at it I'd say you'll be spending way more on it than you'll ever sell it for grin

whatever your questions, someone here can answer them, but it'd be a good idea to also get hold of the shop and assembly manuals to help you along - there's also some links below this post to some info related to the TF trucks - and in the links pages there's good books listed that relate to general Chev truck history and restoration
