Hello, my name is Dan, I'm 24 from Iowa. I'm here because I am considering a few projects. I can pick up a 49 1/2ton step pretty cheap, looking more for a 67-72 though. I have an almost 2 year old son that I hope to one day get under a few hoods instead of buried in a cell phone. Only truck I have ever had was 87 chevy 1/2ton, so I'm pretty new to this. All I know is I need something to do and I was thinking, what better to do than build/rebuild what I've always wanted! This looks like a great community of people here . I will try and upload pictures of the 49 I am considering, haven't been to it in person yet so its hard to tell the true condition of it.
