I`m going to look a GMC 1 ton pickup tomorrow. Supposedly barn fresh and kept. All I know from word of mouth about it is it has bug eye headlites so I`m assuming its 1941-43 ish.
How do I know if it has insert bearings or babbitted? I`m guessing that it would be a 228, 236, or 248 engine. Any advice here would sure help me out. Dont be bashfull. Thanks, John
