Hey-on those mounts, could yyou be fighting the old 250/292 mount difference? When I bought my 66 C-60,it was without engine and radiator.I was told by the owner it had a 292 in it. I bought a 292 and had big problems getting the right mount to line up. Turns out,the previous owner didn't know a 250 from a 292,and the truck was actually built with a 250. I was finally able to fit it together by hogging out the center hole on the right side frame bracket and using the big flatwasher, like Wrenchbender does. I could have ground off the rivets and moved the frame bracket,re-drilled the frame, and bolted it down, but the engine was already in and mostly done,so I chose the path of least intensive labor.
