I did get a set of chevy rims 16x6.5 that were riveted. off a late model 3/4 ton I believe a Silverado in a junk yard
I punched out the rivits (read - grind, drill, punch) and reversed the centers of the rims. Then pinned them with steel rods and welded both sides of the rods and the seams. They clear the tie rods and look great.
I think you can buy them like this (reverse rims) but I could not find them. | | |
