Having a'51 Chevy 3/4 ton 3600 with a '56 235 engine I thought maybe at one point somethings may not be compatible. Well, trying to trace the electrical on the wiper motor produced that dilemma. After reading in Keith Hardy's book that it was a vacuum type motor and I should be looking for a vacuum hose instead of an electrical wire, I found it alright. One inch of hose cut off right at the wiper motor. Does that mean that a '56 235 engine is not designed to feed a vacuum hose to this wiper motor? I sure would hate to have to rig some kind of rubber band with a foot pedal or attach it to a round cage with a squirrel in it. Any suggestion from the "Brotherhood of the Bolts"?
