Not sure how guys end up on the diesel subject, but I've been a diesel mech for fifteen years and they all have their issues.My dad owned log trucks we had a 1972 white with a silver 92 init(turboed 2stroke if your not familiar) and an 1980 KW with a 3406B in it, the cat could have sucked the detroit up and spit out the stack! It is my opinion until electronic engines came along CAT was king
