Hey guys,

I'm interested in eventually upgrading my truck to front disc brakes on dropped spindles. I realize this requires a new master cylinder setup, with two reservoirs and a proportioning valve. My truck is a 61, with a manual 4 speed, with the hydraulic clutch. The upgraded master cylinder kit for this is about $400 bucks more than the kit required for trucks without the hydraulic clutch. So I was wondering, what is involved in swapping out my hydraulic clutch setup for the 63 and later mechanical linkage? Has anyone else out there upgrading a 60-61 truck have the same dillemma? What did you do?
