For your engine, you'll need to look at the '55 2nd manual, as the '56 is just a suppliment. The entire '55 manual is available on the Keith Hardy's Old Car Manual Project site that Peter posted the link to. Would be better for you to use that than buy an entire manual just to cover the engine. I'm thinking that most, if not all, of the specs are the same for '55 and '56. Most of the basic engine teardown is similar to the older engine.
