For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 86 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 86 | The Reese trailer harness in my Jeep failed after less than 3 hours use. The turn signals and brake lights work, but the running lights don't. I traced it to the brown wire coming out of the Reese box (1 1/2 inches x 3 inches x 1/2 inch). The brown wire (running lights) going in is hot, the brown wire coming out is dead. My thoughts are to bypass the box with an inline fuse for the running lights. Any reason that wouldn't work?
Thanks, Scott | | |
