The 302 is basically the same as the 270 but with siamesed cylinders to increase bore to 4" and a different cylinder head. I believe that the oil pump is larger, most likely to accomodate an air compressor. Stock HP was somewhere around 130 to 150 HP at 3200 to 3600 rpm. It would be nice if a medium duty and heavy duty maintenance manuals were reproduced. I have a light dury 39-53 gmc parts manual which has been of great benefit to me and I'm sure would be to others. How do I go about getting it reprinted?
