I want to start searching for a used chevy rear-end for my 54 GMC and I need to know what measurements I need to have and exactly where to measure. Do you measure from the out side edge drum to drum or from outside axle flange to flange? Are there any other measurements I need? Are there specific year axles I shoud focus on or some I should avoid? Thanks for any help.
