I always thought the newer engines were longer then the older ones, if not then it should fit right in.
You cannot set the engine to ( X ) amount of degrees with out knowing what to reference off of. Is it off true level or some point on the chassis? You could measure the rear axle angle and set the crank to match, which should give the intake and the drive shaft the proper angles.
But if its a bare chassis, then the rear axle angle will be off from its normal position, so it has to have weight on it to be accurate doesn't it? or atleast tide down to its normal ride hight?
Not sure if I explained it right or if I am just over thinking the problem.
