I'm driving from the Puget Sound to Wyoming next week in my truck with my 6 year old boy. I'll be going thru Ellensburg, Yakima, Pendleton, Baker, Boise and Ogden and then back the same way. The truck is tip top and I'm looking forward to the drive. I'm putting together a safety kit just in case, but I trust this truck to make it more than I would my daily drivers. I expect to average 65 mph and get 18 to 20 mpg. Better if the wind is at my back and worse if it's head-on. I'll drive in four 7-8hour segments in the early mornings. Anyone know how construction is on I-84? Wish me luck!
