I dont think most guys relo the tank for that reason,but more for a practical purpose such as being a big guy weight or heightwise.
Know of 2 diff gents that moved the tank,
1 bacause he was 6ft4
1 because he was 300 plus :p
Both loved their trucks and wouldnt think of gettin rid o them
By moving the tank you gain that extra depth by moving the seat rails back,
Its not much but sometimes an inch is alot
