papacatastrophe Wrench Fetcher P Joined: May 2009 Posts: 33 missouri	I am about to use 80W90 gear oil to fill my rearend and I was wondering... Do I use the same fluid inside the transmission (it's a manual transmission). BTW, I got a 63 GMC 1/2ton 4x4 k1000 Oh ya...! For the amont of fluid going in the Tranny, is that like the rearend, in that one just fills it up till they can feel it with their finger in the upper hole? Thanks!
