I’m in the process of going through mine again after 15 years under the truck. I will be replacing all the parts that I can still find. My 15 year old NAPA lifetime warranty rack is leaking and the inner tie rods are loose. I’ve been working with NAPA and they cannot get the power racks for the Pacer anymore, only manual (Hey, but no more P/S leaks!) I was told if I were to find one on my own, brought my old rack in with the original receipt and proof I bought another one “NAPA would make it right”. Nice to find a company willing to do that these days. I too found the one at rock auto, and I called this place http://www.carsteering.com/addtocar...;cnsuffix=All%20Models&part=80-00050 and the guy said they had them in stock, ready to ship (for $245 plus core). I found one on E-bay last month, power, rebuilt, still in the shrink rap and box. Got it for $91.00. There has been a few in the last couple of months…do an E-Bay search on Pacer rack on the completed listings to see what they went for. If you are in no hurry another one may come up. You do have to watch, as there are at least 2 sizes of input shafts, (3/4” and 13/16”) so your lower u-joint might not fit the new rack.
