a-marc, Not the center bolt, but the main bolt...the big 11/16ths one that bolts the main to the frame, opposite end of the shackle...I never knew the nuts were "rare".

Yep. I took my springs to Kremer. It has been 20+ years since they worked springs for me, but wow, they treated me very well. They rebuilt new mains on the front and provided all of the hardware except for the rear shackles. They did not have any that long. Not that money is everything, but I figured I saved $150 by going there instead of buying off the web.

Best part was talking with the guy when I picked them up. He knew some folks that I used to know..After 37 years, he had some good tips and secrets. I wish it had not been 4:45 on a friday when I was picking them up.

About the old nuts...I must confess...I pulled all of them off with an air impact wrench. Wanting that part of the truck to be new and safe, I (GASP) tossed three of the four. I might have saved the others, but I don't think I did. I was not planning on re-using them since the bolts were worn half thru.
