Those kinds of projects have some appeal for me, but don't be holding your breath. When I want to drive a Corvette I drive one. I drove it to and from work today. It has the best air conditioner of anything I own.
I have toyed with the idea of abandoning the as yet un-started restoration project on my 1-ton dually, and instead dropping that body on a 4x4 S-10 frame. But in doing so it would no longer be a 1-ton, and though some might argue it still fits based on its origin, I don't think that proejct would belong in this area.
