Can't call me a stovebolter I don't think, I'm running an Iron Duke Engine!
I was looking for you last Sunday at the Kinsmen I think, assuming there's not too many flat back ADs with shiny blue engines around. I wanted to see how the wiper system worked since mine came in a billion pieces and I've never seen them installed. I wandered around the show there for a bit but got tired of the crowd of yokels around the Cavalier you were parked beside.
I actually called the inspector yesterday, just waiting for him to tell me when he'll be in the area. Before last night I only had 1 fender left to patch, 1 headlight, taillights, and wipers. Apparently I now have to add a defroster and windshield washers too as my truck is considered "custom" (I don't have papers for the 52, so I need to go through the process of getting a new VIN/registration for it). Unfortunately after a trip around the block last night on a bit of a test drive my engine decided to crap out on me, so I have to add some diagnosis to the list of things to do over the next couple of weeks. Hoping it's nothing major.
I try to head to all the local shows as a spectator, but would like to make it to a few as a participant before the year is out.
