Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | You can use any point type distributor to trigger an MSD or you can convert your existing distributor to full electronic with a Pertronix kit for about 80 bucks and 15 minutes. What many like is to use the later 250/292 GM HEI distributor which is all self contained and takes one wire to hook it up. It has to have the shoulder on the housing moved up about 3/8" to get full oil pump meshing but that's it. They make a collar to clamp it down and every parts store in the world has parts on hand for it.
