#55183 01/20/2006 1:54 PM | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 | The '72 250 motor does not have the tabs on the front of the motor to fit up to a truck/car that uses the front mounts like a '55 Chevy. I believe '69 to '72 were all without front mounts. Before you jump, check out your intented truck to see where the mounts are. I didn't and now have a '72 boat anchor in my garage.
